Walked away a little vexed at the rudeness and general bad manners of the lady on the till. So went back and said excuse me I said thank you and goodbye to you. She just looked up at me and said oh thank you.
I know it's Boxing Day and not everyone wants to work but come on good manners and a smile to your customers is a minimum requirement in any field of retail.
